· MODIFICATION OF CDBG FUNDING
CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
· GRANT AGREEMENT – Between Potter County and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) for federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation for the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) in the amount of $11,909.00 for the period of October 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010.
· LEASE AGREEMENT – Between Potter County and Herb Smith for rental of cubicle #9 at a monthly rate of $200.00.

TRAINING REQUESTS
· Andy J. Watson (District Attorney) – The District Attorney Seminar, February 8-9, 2010, Philadelphia, Pa. Request for meals, mileage, lodging ($210.00) and registration fee ($125.00) expenses.
Purpose: Duties and powers of the DA, police relations, documentation and lawful discipline of employees, media relations, prosecution ethics.
· Deborah Pearsall (Probation) – Growing in your Professional Role for Our System’ support staff, April 22 – 23, 2010, Mechanicsburg, Pa. Request for meals, mileage, lodging ($126.98) and registration ($110.00) expenses.
Purpose: Professional improvement and required staff training.
· John Hetrick, Glenn Dunn, Dean Predmore – PEMA Quarterly Training, February 3-4, 2010, Lancaster, Pa. Request for meals, mileage and lodging ($375.00) expenses. There is no registration fee and PEMA will pay for 3rd night’s lodging.
Purpose: Required training.
· Colleen Wilber (PCHS) – SCA County Prevention Profile, February 2, 2010, Harrisburg, Pa. Request for meals, mileage and lodging ($94.34) expenses. There is no registration fee.
Purpose: Mandatory training

· TEMPORARY EMERGENCY HIRE – Anita J. Mead as full-time Secretary II/Clerk III in the District Attorney’s Office effective January 4, 2010 at an hourly rate of $8.40.
· TEMPORARY EMERGENCY HIRE – Brenna Whitman-Fesemyer as full-time Secretary II/Clerk II in District Justice Annette Easton’s Office effective January 19, 2010 at an hourly rate of $8.40.
