NEW BUSINESS
Guest speaker was Potter County Human Services Mental Health Director Melissa Gee. She presented a summary of the programs available from that agency to serve the needs of county residents. The state requires counties to provide these services and PCHS satisfies that mandate through in-house and contracted providers.

BRICO Technologies 911 Program project quotes - for four sets of duplexers and required cabling for PD/EMA base stations located at Austin, Sharon, Deerlick and Bailey Hill. Comm. Kefover moved to approve; Comm. Heimel seconded. Morley yes; Heimel yes; Kefover, yes.

Tax Claim Bureau Director – Commissioner Doug Morley will temporarily fill the role. The interim appointment allows the county to comply with all applicable laws, according to County Solicitor D. CHIEF CLERK REPORT
The county has received applications for 100 percent of the 2010 Liquid Fuels funds allocated. All funds received by the state for this purpose have been utilized for 2010.

COMMISSIONERS’ REPORTS
Comm. Kefover reported that Kirk Tarkington, director of WNY Teen Challenge, was well-received in his presentation to the Potter County Criminal Justice Advisory Board on the services that organization can provide. She said she is working on a public event to inform the community about Teen Challenge.

Comm. Heimel announced that improvements have been made to the county’s website. Web pages of the County Treasurer, Tax Assessment, Election Office, Planning Commission and Register and Recorder’s Office offer interactive functions that improve efficiencies and save the county and the citizenry money and time. He noted that this has been accomplished at nominal expense.
