Chamber Music
The 2012 Logan Chamber Music Series schedule is now complete. Recent additions include East of the River on Monday, June 25, the Carpe Diem String Quartet on July 30, and A Far Cry on August 20. The Logan Chamber Music Series presents a diverse selection of guest ensembles at 4 p.m. Mondays in Elizabeth S. Lenna Hall. East of the River presents a program exploring Medieval music of the Mediterranean and traveling eastward through the Balkans to Armenia and the Middle East.

Carpe Diem String Quartet defies easy classification, bringing a musical passion that has led the group down the paths of gypsy, tango, folk, pop, rock, and jazz inspired music, though they are equally at home with the traditional string quartet repertoire.

A Far Cry features 17 young professional musicians who have expanding the boundaries of orchestral repertoire and experimenting with the ways music is prepared, performed and experienced.
