CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
· INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT – Between Potter, Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga and Union counties for reciprocal disaster preparedness and prevention, and emergency response and recovery in support of the North Central Task Force (NCTF).
· MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT – Between Potter, Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga and Union counties on behalf of the NCTF to set forth and formalize their agreement for the provision of expected policies, procedures and services for the effective and efficient fiscal administration and operation of the NCTF.
· INTERNGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT – Under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act between the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW), Potter County Domestic Relations Section of the Court of Common Pleas and the Potter County Commissioners.

TRAINING REQUESTS
· Retroactive - Colleen Wilbur (PCHS) – SCA Fiscal Officer Conference, May 6, 2010, State College, Pa. Request for meals, mileage and registration fee ($70.00) expenses.
Purpose: Required for new 5 year BDAP contract
· Sherry Hoffman (PCHS) – P4A Membership Meeting/PDA Quarterly, June 16-17, 2010, State College, Pa. Request for meals, mileage and lodging ($214.84) expenses.
Purpose: Required quarterly meetings with PDA & P4A
· Tom Rathmell (Jail) – ServSave Certification Program, May 24 and June 7, 2010, Port Allegany, Pa. Request for meals, mileage and registration fee ($180.00) expenses.
Purpose: Required certification training
PERSONNEL
· HIRING – Potter County Chief Assessor Joe Lewis requests the hiring of Jacob Ostrom as a summer assistant through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) State Work Study Program at an hourly rate of $8.20, effective May 17 through August 20, 2010 and for 3 weeks during the Christmas holiday break.
PHEAA reimburses employers for up to 40% of the salary.
· HIRING – County Extension Director Don Tanner recommends the hiring of
Sheila Gabreski as part-time Secretary/Clerk II, Class III effective April 28, 2010 at an hourly pay rate of $8.40 per the union contract.
· EMERGENCY TEMPORARY HIRE – District Attorney Andy Watson recommends the temporary emergency hiring of Jackie Yoder as Victim Witness Coordinator effective May 10, 2010 through June 1, 2010.
Approval has been obtained from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), Office of Victims’ Services for this temporary hire.
