APPROVED MINUTES – December 30, 2010

NEW BUSINESS
Resolution NO # 1- 2011 – Supporting the Redevelopment a assistance Capital Program Grant of One Million Dollars for the purpose of renovating the Emergency Department an Upgrading the HVAC and Mechanical Systems at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

Bohn Catering – Cost of lunches provided by Bohn Catering has increased from $3.50 to $4.50 per meal prepared for lunches. Lunches and dinners will reflect the same cost per meal.

Student Representative for PCHS Advisory Board – Cameron P. Kockler has been recommended to fulfill the student requirement of the Potter County Human Services Advisory Board. This will be for a two year term ending July 2013.

North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission - Re-appointment to serve as a member for the term of 2011-2012 – Charlotte Dietrich, Douglas Morley, and Joseph Pagano. Mitch DeLong does not wish to serve an additional term.

Transport Fees – Potter County Sheriff transport personal pay for jail will raise from $7.25 to $9.00 per hour.

CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
Service for Generator Maintenance – The maintenance will be performed by John Rotello at an annual contracted price of $7,215.00 for the maintenance of the 911 stand-by generators.

Architectural Service – Donald N. Reitz will provide architectural services for re-reroofing the Potter County Human Services building in Roulette.

Service Contract Agreement – 3 D Facility Services will provide maintenance on the following Gunzburger Building, County Courthouse, Human Services, and EMA Offices/911.

TRAINING REQUESTS
Philip Seeley and Benn Troutman – Basic Training for Corrections Officers in Elizabethtown PA, from Feb 7, through Mar 4, 2011 – cost will be $800.00 each, request for meals, mileage. Basic training is certification required within one year of full-time hire.

PERSONNEL
Retirement – Timothy Schaub will be retiring with the effective date of January 21, 2011. Tim has worked for the County since February 2003 as a MR County Caseworker 2.

County Caseworker 2 with Potter County Human Services – Temporary full-time position based on the time period of grant at $11.64 – 13.38 per hour.

CHIEF CLERK REPORT

ANY OTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD
Request for Proposal – Potter County Commissioners will be accepting bids for providing meals for the County Jail. Bids will be received until 4:30 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2011, with the opening of the bids on the regularly scheduled Commissioners meeting held on February 10, 2011.

Confidential Executive Secretary Position - Potter County Commissioner will be accepting application through PA CareerLink until 4:00 pm January 21, 2011.
