The First Baptist Church of Shinglehouse, Pa. will host services with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Johnson on Sunday, May 22. The Rev. Dr. Johnson will teach a Sunday school class at 9:30 am in the church Sanctuary. He will also bring the morning message during the 10:30 am morning worship service.
Jeffrey A. Johnson, MA, PhD, is associate executive minister for the American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware, and director of evangelism and new church planting for the American Baptist Home Mission Societies. Prior to these appointments in 2011, he served as senior pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Hurricane, West Virginia. Dr. Johnson is founder of the Berean Institute of Biblical Studies, which offers an accredited program for Baptist lay ministry. He has also written a book entitled, "Got Style?" and offers workshops with this title. Please join us for the Rev. Dr. Johnson's dynamic messages!
